Iron Creek Geophysical Survey

The Iron Creek electromagnetic and magnetic airborne geophysical survey area is located in Alaska in the Yentna-Cache Creek mining district, about 90 kilometers north-northeast of Anchorage, Alaska. Frequency domain electromagnetic and magnetic data were collected with the DIGHEMV system from August 6 to 24, 1997. A total of 5103 line kilometers were collected covering 1852 square kilometers. Line spacing was 400 meters (m). Data were collected an average of 36 m above the ground surface from a helicopter towed sensor platform ("bird") on a 30 m long line.
